Cunliffe Barn Reviews

Cunliffe Barn is an incredibly welcoming and relaxing space in a beautiful location. We had the perfect couple of days we were working locally, so this was a nice retreat each evening and the cottage was very well equipped. The welcome goodies were also most welcome. Thank you, we will be back!

Wonderful holiday. Would highly recommend to anyone
Excellent property, with high standard facilities in a very quiet location, but not far to access shops, town centres and local area. Short walk to village pub which served really good food. The owners provided a really extensive welcome pack which was much appreciated and used, many thanks. Made great use of hot tub. Parked in Guiseley for free and took train into Leeds city centre which is only 15 minutes by train, so hassle free. Brilliant stay helped by the warm dry weather. Would definitely recommend and stay again.

Really stunning and contemporary cottage, and lively to stay at, from the welcome pack to the wool pack! !! Modern yet still had styletaste and plenty of room. Only 3 critiques in the spirit of improvement 1 needs better WiFi 2 bathroom could have a better shower 3 garden isnt really enclosed fix the gate and itll be a bit better but not dog proof Overall still would highly recommend and would return in a heartbeat
Andrew

Fabulous accommodation, everything you could want and more! Greeted by a lovely welcome selection of nibbles & treats. Even a bottle of Prosecco, milk, eggs, crisps, biscuits along with teacoffee & fresh bread. Logs and kindle ready to light the fire. We even managed to have a little BBQ on the table outside, worked perfectly. Location was superb, not over looked, yet cozy & warm, its got a rural feel about the place but youre 5 mins from civilisation. Really loved our stay and would like to return! Wholeheartedly recommend this fabulous little gem of a cottage. Clearly, someone knows what theyre doing. Keep the amazing work up we appreciated all the little bits & bobs.
Such a lovely property in a lovely area. Everything at Cunliffe Barn is so welcoming and clean, towels and bedding were lovely and the hot tub was so relaxing and easy to use. What a lovely relaxing stay we had for a week. A gem of a place just to get away from it all. Thanks Hayley for putting the lovely tree up for our arrival. 1010.

This is one of the nicest holiday cottages we have stopped in, beautiful property, village is lovely with a great local pub the original woolpack hot tub and log fire are fab, we will definitely be returning in the future.
This place is an absolute gem! Set in a quiet area within reach of a beautiful village, the barn has both a feel of a combination of an old style cottage but with a modern design. The interior is beautifully designed and is very spacious, which includes a snug area with a wood burner. The kitchen is modern and has everything you will need for preparing meals. On arrival, we found a gift basket that had numerous items bread, bacon, butter, crisps, Prosecco, milk, eggs and Popcorn which was a lovely touch. We only had one issue, which was we utilised the gift basket for our bread products only to find that we had had an overnight visitor which opened and pinched alot of the bread products, this wasn't a big deal for us as you are in the middle of fields so you expect that sort of thing. We did let the owners know but only for information. Luckily the weather was kind to us so we utilised the outdoor space and hot tub every day overlooking the beautiful views. Esholt itself is a loveley village, and we visited the Woolpack for evening meal which we enjoyed and is within walking distance. Cunliffe Barn was used as a base to explore the Yorkshire countryside. We would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a memorable stay in a very quiet spot of Yorkshire!
It was a beautiful cottage well located with great amenities in the cottage, especially with the hot tub was an added bonus. We had lovely weather which meant we went on lovely long walks with the dogs, having the river and ship canal close lead to nice walks. You have great access to Leeds and surrounding towns from the village. Only a couple of down sides for us were We had two dogs and there was no where secure at the property for them to go out so had to take them out on lead for toilet etc The beds although comfortable were very soft which my partner and I found different and movement impacted sleep as when one moved so did the other.
What you read about this place on the website is true! Really comfortable, warm and extremely spacious! I'd return in a heartbeat. Comfy pillows and mattress, amazing log burner and lots of peace and quiet! There was a slight technical issue with the hot tub during my stay, but the owner was right on it and the repair was made early the next morning. Brilliant! The only minor thing I'd point out is that there were no cloths to wipe down work surfaces in the kitchen, dishwasher tablets or sponges with which to wash nondishwasher items. But in the scheme of things when the welcome hamper was so wellstocked, just something small to pack for my next stay! Definitely 5!
