Beautiful property in a perfect quiet location with easy access to a local Coop, 2 good pubs, an Indian restaurant and a Fish and Chip Shop. The beds were so comfortable as were the settee and arm chair. A lovely welcome pack awaited us, also the owner who was very friendly and informative greeted us on arrival. Overall we had a wonderful relaxing stay and would love to return and would definitely recommend.

We had a wonderful stay at the swans nest, we were met by Kyle who gave us an orientation of the property. Theres everything you need to cook a Sunday roast if you wished. The bedrooms are immaculate beds so comfortable. Theres a bath & shower in each bedroom good size tvs in every room. Off the lounge area theres a lovely view over the canal, watching the wildlife and boats passing an hot tub. We thought having stopped a few times in the area this was by far the best and will definitely return.

We had a lovely stay at The Swans Nest Lock View. It had everything we wanted spotlessly clean and appointed to a very high standard. The bed and pillows were so comfortable. The kitchen had all the appliances we could have asked for. It was all really lovely, we didnt want to leave! Nicola and Kyle were very welcoming. There was a bottle of wine, a box of chocolates, a bottle of fresh milk in the fridge and plenty of tea bags! We would definitely like to return.

The Swans Nest is an lovely modern holiday property, well built, beautifully furnished and ideally situated next to the Leeds Liverpool canal. A 2 minute walk from the village of Gargrave with a number of local walks. A walk to Skipton via the canal towpath is a little over 4 miles from The Swans Nest. A great base for those that enjoy the countryside and walking.

We stayed during Aug bank holiday 2 couples and used it as a base location for 2 action packed days. The only downside was due to our itinerary we didn't have a plethora of time to enjoy the cottage and all it had to offer in room bathtubs, watching TV etc, meaning we did not get full value for our money as it is not the cheapest. Problem solved now as we have booked it again for my hubbies 40th next year for a week for just the 2 of us to really take advantage of everything the cottage and the village has to offer, and I am already so excited. If you are thinking of booking it just do it, it's absolute BLISS

A beautiful property with a large balcony overlooking the canal, we could watch the wildlife and the boats travelling by. Loved the hot tub too, only five minutes to the local amenities, The Masons Arms produced lovely meals and the local fish and chip shop is a must. Kyle and Nichola should be proud of what they have achieved.

This property is absolutely stunning. Everything is finished to a very high qualtity and everything you could possibly need is provided. The location is perfect, right on the canal bank and very central for all the attractions that are available in this stunning part of the country. The owners were very helpful and the welcome pack was generous.

An extremely well appointed cottage. The layout is ideal for 2 couples with 1 bedroom at ground level and the other on the 2nd floor. The setting is delightful looking over the Yorkshire Dales and the Leeds Liverpool Canal. The birdlife is great including herons, swans, and all the usual birds but the ellusive kingfisher is a bonus. Gargrave is a delightful village with everything we needed. The River Aire running through the village gives it the extra wow.

Absolutely beautiful property setting in a lovely welcoming village. The house has everything you need and more, very relaxing few days was had. Would highly recommend if you want a lovely chill out, its also a great base for getting out and seeing places
