We absolutely loved The Dalesman cafe and were spoiled for choice with the traditional sweets and then had the loveliest Sunday enjoying a walk along the canal and the roast we had at The Old Swan was divine. Could not recommend this place enough and we would absolutely book it again.

We had an amazing few days away. The property is just stunning, really has the wow factor. We did some beautiful walks, to ingleton waterfalls about 30 min drive, and ingleborough nature trail and cave. We also walked from the property along the canal to Skipton which was about 5 miles, then opted for train back which literally took 5 mins back to gargrave. Owners very friendly and on hand if need anything. Would 100 return again without hesitation.

We had an amazing 3 restful nights in this beautiful cottage which clearly has been done up to the high level of attention to details and decor. The Jacuzzi is certainly the highlight of our stay as well as the bottle of wine and chocolates as a welcome gift plus a pint of milk. These gestures are so important and makes the entire experience sextra special. The fact is is dog friendly was a big plus for us as we don't go anywhere without our pooch who also enjoyed his quiet walks along the canal which is situated just off the cottage. The bed was remarkably comfortable and spacious. Loved it! Would without any doubt recommend and will definitely be back! A couple of minor suggestions but NOT a complaint... Just some improvement opportunities

This was a beautifully presented apartment. We loved its location and enjoyed watching wildlife and boats on the canal. There are a few good places to eat and shop within the village and interesting places to visit if you travel a little further than that. Thank you for our welcome gifts and our fabulous little holiday!

The property was exactly if not better than advertised, very clean and comfortable with some amazing little touches. The owners were very attentive with texts before our stay and meeting us at the property to show us how everything worked. Could not recommend this place enough

The property was very well presented and the decor and furniture provided was very good. The two flights of stairs are a challenge to older people to get their luggage up into the bedroom. The village centre is only a short walk and the local pubs and restaurants are very good. The view over the canal was excellent. We would definitely go again.

We have just returned from a wonderful weekend at waters edge lock View. The cottage is stunning, newly build to a very high standard, with beautiful extras such as the copper roll top bath, a lovely balcony overlooking the canal & the private hot tub area. The owners were lovely and made the key pick up easy and were very pleasant and helpful. We loved it and will be returning, I would recommend to anyone, you won't be disappointed.
