Enjoy the magic of this very special escape, filled with books, art and antiques and boasting a gorgeous walled garden with a hot tub. A welcoming home-from-home located in a peaceful village that’s within reach of both Sandringham and the coast, it’s perfect for large families and groups of friends celebrating together. This lovely property really has the feel of a relaxed family home, albeit one with huge period character. The high ceiling in the lounge gives it a touch of grandeur, but it’s actually a super-cosy space with comfortable seating and a Smart TV. Step through into the bright kitchen/diner, a lovely room in which everyone can gather and recount the day’s adventures. Three of the four bedrooms are also on the ground floor.

About The Folly

The super-king-size bedroom has an en-suite WC and a fabulous, free-standing bath at the foot of the bed - pour a glass of bubbly and enjoy! Just one bedroom, a double, is situated on the first floor - a tranquil space with lovely views over the garden. The bedrooms share a spacious family shower room on the ground floor, which also doubles as a laundry room. You’ll want to spend some time wandering through the extensive grounds, which include areas for sitting back and enjoying the rural vistas and an impressive walled garden with a long dining table for al fresco meals. Here there’s also a six-person hot tub in which you can enjoy a restorative soak after a day out exploring. From Ingoldisthorpe you can strike out into the surrounding countryside on foot or by car, discovering the charming towns and villages all around. You can cycle to the Sandringham Estate, just 3.5 miles, or head to the beach at Hunstanton, 5.5 miles, where there’s also bowling, crazy golf, pitch and putt and amusements.

The Folly Reviews

The place was lovely, really charming. It did take longer to reach the beach than expected-traffic was heavier than we thought. But since we're used to quiet areas, it wasn't a surprise or misleading at all.
Alex
The grounds are stunning, plenty to see and doand it's just a quick drive to some beautiful beaches. Perfect for celebrating my birthday - we'll definetly return!

We had a lovely stay here. The inside feels even more charming than the pictures suggest, with plenty of art to admire. The gardens are fantastic for kids and dogs alike. The hidden 'Dell' behind the Folly was a real highlight for us!

We had a lovely stay at this quirky place - truly one of a kind! It's perfect for families, especially with all the outdoor space in summer. We visited at the end of October with our family of four, so it felt pretty roomy. The two toilets were fineand the living area was comfy, but during summer I'd definitely recommend staying when you can enjoy the outdoor areas more. The host was really friendlyand the gardener was lovely, working on the gorgeous grounds. Great location too, close to beaches, shopsand restaurants. Felt like a home from home!
