Little Barn is a cosy stone cottage tucked away in the Yorkshire Dales National Park, just outside the pretty village of Askrigg. Had a lovely short stay at Little Barn. Was impressed as it was so much bigger than it seemed on the photos. Everything was well laid out, very comfortable and plenty of everything that may be needed in the kitchen. Hot tub was lovely to relax in in the evening. Nice and peaceful there and plenty to do in the area.

A lovely cottage in a peaceful setting, the bath was a great addition and being able to watch the steam train from the bedroom another highlight. Bev was available to answer questions and was lovely. We had a wonderful welcome from the chickens. All in all a lovely weekend.

The cottage was fantastic with fantastic views and the owners were lovely and helpful too, we will definitely be back.

What a fabulous cottage! It far exceeded our expectations. It was spotlessly clean and had everything you could need plus loads of little extras that made our stay even better. Its very peaceful and pretty much all we heard were the birds singing. Weve never had a hot tub before but like everything else it seemed very clean. The bath in the bedroom is big enough for two as well! There are deer living in the woodland and chickens in the yard. There was even a little jar of food to feed the chickens which I loved. Bev is a lovely host and was very helpful. Theres masses to do nearby. Our particular highlights were Salts Mill, Haworth Parsonage Museum, Ilkley Moor, East Riddlesden Hall, Hebden Bridge and The Piece Hall in Halifax.

I can thoroughly recommend our stay in the Little Barn it was a lovely place and Bev was very helpful with anything we asked about and thanks again Bev for all the goodies.

A little piece of heaven, we couldn't of asked for a more romantic break. The cottage is beautiful, cosy and sooooo comfortable. I had the best birthday weekend here and will definitely be visiting again. We spent cosy afternoons and nights by the fire, bathed in the most beautiful stunning bath and spent lovely evenings in the amazing hot tub in the rain and oh my the bed was so comfortable. Bev was an amazing host and couldn't have been more helpful. Our weekend was topped of by the deer letting us hand feed them. You have to check this place out.

As we turned off the road and into the driveway to the property we were a little sceptical. The driveway was very uneven for our little car. However taking it slowly we made it to Little Barn. What a delightful property. Very well equipped kitchen. Very modern throughout. Immaculately clean. Plenty of towels for showers and for the hot tub. Relaxing lounge. Bedrooms were dreamy and my friend loved the free standing bath with the beautiful views over the moors. Hot tub was great. We had a lovely welcome pack from the owner which was a lovely touch, Thankyou. A great position to explore the area.

We have just returned from a lovely relaxing stay at Little Barn. Everything and more is provided for a very comfortable stay. The hot tub was divine, having the privilege to hand feed the wild deer was wonderful. The snug with extra tv is an added bonus, beds were very comfortable too. The place was spotless, cosy and comfortable. The owners were fantastic hosts. They responded to messages quickly, nothing was too much trouble for them they even let us feed deer from their own back garden an experience we will never forget. We loved the hot tub, such a nice little courtyard and sun trap in the afternoon early evening. The kids enjoyed feeding the chickens. Views are lovely. We had a day on the KWVR and walked to Damems station from the cottage and the a trip over to Skipton which was nice. We will come back again.

The Little Barn was so lovely. So nice being in lovely surroundings. We were two adults and a 3 & 5 year old. Plenty of space, very clean and tidy. Beautiful kitchen over looking hills and the steam train passing by. There is a little climbing frame and swings but we didnt use it while we were there. We saw deer, chickens and ponies out of kitchen window also! We had an enclosed garden due to our daughter being autistic and has a tendancy to run off so that was really handy. Bev gave us instructions of how to find the barn as its down a little track. We ordered food while we were there from a takeaway and they were able to find the barn with no problem. They had thought about most things you would need while away. We asked for a baby gate and glad we did as the stairs were quite narrow and steep and stopped our little ones escaping up them! Beds were lovely and comfy and the top bedroom had a beautiful bath in overlooking the hills. We would definitely love to come back.

Bev your little barn cottage is the perfect place to watch the Keighley and worth valley railway steam train go by from your upstairs windows. Easy to get to and find. Like a hotel but more stylish. Would definitely recommend your place for a break. Escape from the busy crowd.

Wonderful place, unique situation with deer coming to visit. A few very minor niggles I lost count of how many times I knocked the toilet roll off the holder in the downstairs bathroom it needs a knob or something to keep it in place. Also the hot tub filter could probably do with upgrading since there was always some garden detritus leaves etc in it after use. But these might have weighed more heavily since we were unable to move around as much as usual owing to our car breaking down. I would strongly recommend the property.

We brought the big kids this time and they had an amazing time too.
