A really lovely cottage, ideal for 2, and perfect accommodation for our stay in Hebden Bridge while attending our friends' wedding. The area was very quiet, allowing us to wake to bird song and peacefulness. The bed was comfortable I am fussy!, the storage and sockets plentiful and the standard of the fittings and amenities high throughout. Due to our schedule we didn't have time to use the hot tub but have plans to return for walking in the area, so it is bound to be welcome then to soothe tired legs! The owner, sent a welcome text message with helpful information, which was a nice touch. The parking space is suitable for smaller cars but the road is very quiet, with plenty of parking spots right by the house, so this shouldn't be an issue for people with larger vehicles. The garden front and back has been thoughtfully laid out with pleasant seating areas making the most of the pretty planting and lovely views. And the walk back up to the cottage after dinner in Hebden Bridge was surprisingly manageable, with the road winding gradually upwards and a local bus for those less energetic. All in all a great little place to stay and we are looking forward to returning.

What a lovely place to stay. Really cozy with everything a couple needs to enjoy their stay. Short walk to bus stop and they run every 30 minutes and run till late. Great place to stay with parking which is a massive bonus in Hebden.

Great cottage. Interesting location in the hills but the bus service is excellent. The cottage is in need of some TLC, of which I left a small list on the kitchen table. All in all, value for money and everything we needed.

Fabulous property. Just enough for two!! If I can find a niggle I would have liked a bit of milk, tea or coffee when we arrived but there are shops around a 15 minute drive away

Really enjoyed our stay at Chiserley Stile, gorgeous little cottage with everything that you need for a very comfortable stay. Location was fantastic, we made the short scenic walk down into the centre of Hebdon each day and regular buses meant we could return with ease without having to walk up the hill would definitely return to this cottage we had a fantastic stay.

Cottage is cosy, warm and clean. Bed is extremely comfortable and the towels were lush, fluffy and huge! Hot tub was amazing. 20 minute walk into town going through beautiful woodlands, and about 40 mins back all up hill but really not very far at all. Had a great Sunday lunch in the Hare and Hounds 5 min walk through the fields. Contact with owner throughout stay was really good, so I knew if there were any problems who to contact. Great cottage, thanks.

Absolutely loved our stay here! Was such a peaceful getaway for a few days will defo return because we had such an enjoyable time!

The cottage has almost everything that you need. I took a hairdryer with me as it is a fast one as that is what I prefer, luckily I did as there was not one in the cottage as is usually the case. A cupboard full of toilet rolls was not something I expected to see in the bathroom. The amount of cupboard space in the kitchen was great plus a lovely big fridgefreezer. We took advantage and used the washing machine and tumble dryer so there was less washing to do when we got home, they were super quick. The walk in wardrobe in the huge bedroom was big and unexpected in such a small cottage. The cottage might only be a one up one down but was perfect for 2 people. The photos dont really do it justice. Hot tub was lovely and a good way to get over the days exploring. We did look for a visitors book as we like to read where people have been and given recommendations, we recommend Cannon Hall Farm which is just over an hour away and The Dog and Gun in Oxenhope for a superb meal.

The cottage was cosy and comfortable with lots of character and some lovely features. 2 nice seating areas morning sun in the back and then it moved over to the front.

Absolutely loved this cottage, nice and clean and very comfortable. Paul came straight around and sorted the fire alarm that required a new battery. The only thing that we could say is that there was no large bowls for fruit or mixing and there was no jugs either but we managed and loved the stay. Great walks and amazing views were had all week

2a is a lovely holiday stay , we were there a week and could've easily stayed longer . Paul , the host came to check the hot tub half way through the week and is a lovely chap. Once we had navigated the bus timetable , we had a lovely downward walk in the wood to Hebden Bridge town centre and got the bus back most days . We did find other ways to walk to Hebden and always got the bus back. We have already recommended the accommodation to 2 friends who are keen to book . We would definitely like to return later in the year .

We enjoyed our stay very much. The cottage was small but easily adequate for two people. The bedroom was lovely. On the negative side the shower is a bit small for a large bathroom and wasn't very strong. The sofa wasn't too comfortable either. Also it would have been nice to have had a few basic items supplied I.e. salt and pepper pots, tea, coffee, sugar, cooking oil and cling film etc. But all in all a nice place for a short stay.

We had a lovely stay at the cottage, it was warm, comfy, and cosy, and we enjoyed the hot tub! The only downside was that there was A LOT of mould on the upstairs window frame and blinds, and that we weren't provided with any dish soap, dishwashing tablets or bin bags. Apart from that it was perfect.

Fabulous weekend away, the cottage was perfect! ! The owner left us a Xmas card and chocolates which we thought was a lovely gesture. They also provided toilet rolls, hand wash, washing up liquid, dish washer tablets, tea towel & tea and coffee which we thought was a really nice touch also. It was a lovely cottage in a lovely area. However, for the price, I found from experiencing lots of other holiday cottages, that a few personal touches would have been a nice thing to see. Possibly a welcome pack with tea, coffee and milk? There was no washing up liquid and no soaphandsoap in the bathroom? There was handsoap in the kitchen? Owner was great with communication when we had a couple of questions, thank you for that.

We spent a lovely week in 2A Chiserley Stile. Plenty of toilet rolls and fresh towels etc. readily available. Although not situated exactly where we expected, the village was peaceful and relaxing and we were not disappointed. Although we had a problem within the property, on contacting Paul came to the cottage immediately and arranged to get the problem sorted as soon as he possibly could. A very friendly and charming man offering compensation immediately and a further gesture of goodwill he gave us a bottle of wine. So thank you Paul.

We loved our week in the property in Old Town, a small village on the edge of the moors high above the lovely market town Hebden Bridge. The walk down to town was steep at times but we loved doing it. We recommend a visit to Heptonstall an ancient settlement on the other side of the valley. Another steep climb of about a mile from Hebden Bridge but well worth the effort. The house was comfortable and had everything we needed especially a very comfortable bed in a good sized bedroom with walk in wardrobe. There are two good local pubs, the Hare and Hounds in the village and the Robin Hood inn three quarters of a mile away which serves excellent food. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Has huge potential but needs some TLC Upon arriving after a 2 hr drive, a much needed coffee was needed but there wasnt any or sugar and only a few teabags. In fact there was not a lot of anything, one dishwasher tablet to last a week and no toilet roll in the bathroom. We started to unpack the few bits of food and drink we did bring to discover the fridge stunk of fish, that lasted all week. When we told the owner that we had arrived, we were informed that the washing machine had broke. Luckily we always bring enough clothes with us, otherwise we would have been having to find a laundrette. A lot of basic things were missing, the worst being no oven gloves for cooking. Something that is quite serious dangerous. The thing that really surprised us was it didnt seem the property was properly clean black mould in the shower, fungus in the bottom of the bins, mould on blind, dirtymarked towels and cutlery, plated and glasses that hadnt been washed. Even a spot of blood on one of the pillows. Maybe weve been spoiled by the other properties weve stayed at but all in all quite disappointing and lead us to leave a day early. With some TLC and a bit of work, it could be amazing property but sadly not one we would visit again anytime soon. The location however is amazing, Hebden Bridge is a lovely town filled with independent shops. Also we couldnt recommend the Robin Hood Inn enough, some of the best grub weve ever had!
