About Morgan's Barn

Morgan's Barn is a stunning upside-down accommodation in Honley, West Yorkshire. This three-bedroom beauty sits on the edge of town with countryside views and the Peak District National Park practically on your doorstep. All bedrooms can be configured as twins or kings - perfect for when you can't decide who to share with after a few too many!

The location strikes that perfect balance - quiet enough to hear the birds yet close enough to walk back from the pub (less than a mile away). Explore the Peak District's walking trails or visit the many Yorkshire attractions nearby. After a day of hiking, the private hot tub on the enclosed patio will sort out those aching muscles. Just don't drop your prosecco in while stargazing.

The accommodation features three king-size bedrooms (all convertible to twins), with two sharing a Jack-and-Jill en-suite shower room. There's also a separate wet room with bath. Upstairs, the open-plan living area includes a fully-equipped kitchen, dining space and sitting area with a cosy woodburning stove for those chilly Yorkshire evenings.

The property was just as described and pictured and in a lovely quiet location, but in walking distance of amenities. It was beautifully clean and some lovely welcome treats left for us on arrival. Being able to have the beds as 6 singles was great for a girls group. Katy text before arrival to check our needs and was very willing to give advice for food, walks etc. we loved the property and would definitely stay again. Thank you

Six best friends enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub, playing games by the fire, walking through beautiful woods into Honley from the house and a trip for a gorgeous meal in Holmfirth. I went with my husband, our two 17 & 19 years old boys, our daughter and her boyfriend and our dog cookie. We had an amazing time at Morgans barn. Everything was perfect. It has everything you need and their hospitality was fantastic. Honley was a beautiful village, good food at pubs with friendly staff. I would highly recommend this property.

Milk, Prosecco , Snacks and Homemade Shortbread waiting for us. In a lovely quiet location with woods either side to walk in with the dogs couldnt have been more perfect! 20 mins stroll into the village of Honley which is lovely. A very nicely presented property in a great, peaceful location. Easy access to local walks for the village, amenities & countryside right from the doorstep and only a short drive to the routes to explore further. A very friendly welcome and owners available if needed. The hot tub adds that bit of extra luxury relaxation. A great base for enjoying some of the areas cycling terrain.

My 2 cousins and I spent 3 nights at this beautiful accomodation. It was clean, comfortable with bright, open space. The barn feels secluded even though the owners were in the property next door. It was quiet with stunning views over the fields yet only a short drive into the lovely vllage of Honley. Katy, the owner, was there to greet us and had left us all the essentials as well as being kind enough to leave us some delicious home baking! There are a number of lovely spots to eat in Honley and we chose Savaro, The Lebanese Restuarant which gets 5 from us! All in I woud highly recommend Morgans Barn for a get away from it all. 5 Stars plus!

Absolutely fantastic holiday break! The location was breathtaking, offering stunning views in every direction. The owners were incredibly welcoming and friendly, making us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. They live on site but are respectful of your privacy. They also left a welcome gift of prosecco and home made shortbread. The cleanliness of the accommodation was impeccable, and the interior design was simply beautiful, adding to the overall charm of our stay. With plenty of room to relax and unwind, we found it to be the perfect retreat. Additionally, being close to the village and shops made it convenient for any necessities. Totally wonderful place to stay for a few days with our adult daughters so much laughter. The large open plan upstairs kitchensitting room made it so very social amazing views and a warming log fire just added to the delight. Great to have three bedrooms that could all be made up as very comfortable doubles and lovely warm bathrooms. Katy made us all very welcome her shortbread is legendary.

Katy looked after us so well both before and during our stay with gifts of homemade shortbread and fizz in this lovely barn. The accommodation was just perfect for us with the enjoyment of a hot tub too. The surrounding countryside is lovely with lots to do nearby although we enjoyed just chilling and watching the rain by the log burner.

Lovely cottage in a beautiful area. Comfy beds and well appointed although the hob was very difficult to use and a bigger decent frying pan would have been useful particularly for 5 of us, there was only one small frying pan. The upside down accommodation was good although the only exit to the yard for the dogs was through the bedroom. We had a lovely relaxing weekend with some lovely walks from the cottage. The owner left the most delicious home made shortbread and a bottle of fizz which was much appreciated. We stayed Friday to Monday and intended to use the hot tub on Monday morning before breakfast but it had already been emptied and was being cleaned by 8am, we were a bit disappointed by this as check out was 10am and the next guests wouldnt be checking in until 5pm so plenty of time to do this after we left. We did feel a bit rushed to leave because of this.

When we arrived the owners were there to welcome us and throughout the weekend they were there to help. The barn is an amazing renovation that has lovely features of old and new. The underfloor heating in the bedrooms is lovely and the bathrooms are gorgeous. The spot is so close to Honley but far enough away for a quiet night. Also so close to the woods for walks with the dogs
